Terms and conditions of use

By creating an account and using UbiApp, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service description

UbiApp is a work-point geolocation platform for field teams. It allows you to create work groups, manage points on a map, log visits, and sync data between mobile devices and the web panel. The service is available as a mobile app (Android and Windows) and as a web application.

2. Your account

• To use UbiApp you must register with a valid email address and verify it.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and all activities carried out from your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised.
• Creating accounts on behalf of other people without their consent is not permitted.
• Only the account holder can delete or deactivate it. No other user can delete your account.

3. Free Plan

The Free plan is free and permanent. It includes:

• Up to 2 work groups where you are the Owner.
• Up to 5 users per group.
• Unlimited points.
• Record, route, and track history for the last 2 months.
• 1 photo per point and 1 photo per visit record.
• Unlimited CSV, Excel, and PDF export.

4. Pro Plan

The Pro plan is billed monthly per group, based on the number of active users:

• 1 to 10 users: USD $20 per group per month.
• 11 to 30 users: USD $30 per group per month.
• More than 30 users: USD $50 per group per month.

Payment is the responsibility of the group Owner or whoever has the billing responsible flag enabled. Prices are in US dollars (USD) and do not include local taxes where applicable.

Cancelling the Pro plan

You can cancel the Pro plan at any time from the web panel. Upon cancellation, the group will automatically revert to the Free plan at the end of the billing period. No proportional refunds are issued for unused periods.

5. Your data belongs to you

The data you enter in UbiApp — points, records, photos, custom fields — belongs to you. We claim no rights over it. You can export it at any time and delete it whenever you want.

6. User responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter.
• You must not use UbiApp to store or share illegal, misleading, or third-party rights-infringing content.
• You are responsible for correctly managing the roles and permissions of your group members.
• The group Owner is responsible for ensuring the team uses the service in accordance with these terms.

7. Limitation of liability

UbiApp is provided "as is". While Tecia makes its best effort to ensure availability and accuracy of the service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We are not responsible for data loss resulting from sync failures, connectivity issues, or misuse of the application. We recommend exporting your data regularly.

Our maximum liability under any circumstances is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Modifications to the service and terms

We may modify or discontinue service features with prior notice. If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you by email at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the service after that period implies acceptance of the new terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if we detect serious violations of these terms, illegal activities, or fraudulent use of the service. In serious cases, termination may be immediate.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of justice seated in the city of Santiago, Chile.
